I had a short time to sketch, I thought I'd waste it drawing more of my ugly axolotyl character Uzy. I do draw her quite a bit, I just don't show her often. Here she looks a bit out of character, I couldn't quite get her to look how I imagined. Also I have no idea how to render a rash - she looks like she's blushing and her arms turned out bruised! Probably less purple next time...
The terrible pose & composition came about after I initially wanted to draw just her face - ballsed it up along the way down and her legs were impossible to tack on as an afterthought. Planning is a good habit, but in this case my drawing plan went wrong, and I had little time to throw out a quick sketch. Anyway, cheers for looking.
For a "quick sketch", this is most marvelous. Like, woah.
I really like her design - if only more people could come up with such creative character designs, that segment of deviantArt would be less dried up, I guess! But again, it would fall all flat if everyone had awesome skills like that, haha.
I love axolotls!! I'd love to have one as a pet someday. She's an awesomely unique character I love the way you've drawn her eyes. And the tentacle-things on her head are plain cool.

Life exists to be lived and enjoyed, to have fun and experience as much as you can - and when it's all over, to leave this world a tiny bit better then it was when you were born, because you lived in it.
This is really good for something you seem to hate.

Whenever I stare into those eyes, I get this weird feeling. You think I should be scared of it? <.< I hope she's not someone who bites! And hooray for Europen pride! Don't see much of that these days. I suddenly feel the need to make something Mexican...sombrero or... >_>
I'm guessing that the issues you had were probably due to the fact that he body proportions are waaay different than the versions in your previous pictures. She does seem a whole lot taller here when I compare her to her model shots. And she does seem to have gained pupils, whereas in her previous versions those eyes looked soulless.
It's still very good for a quick sketch. If I were to give suggestions based on what I've seen, I'd say try to experiment with color values, give it more interesting shadows and highlights. Otherwise, she's looking good!

Nope.
Is that a tiny stylus on the collar?

Quite a unique character and an even more unique species. I like it.
