Another month towards summer, and I'm gearing up for good things! Yesterday was my birthday which was cool, unexpectedly got some lovely messages from friends and the weather was brilliant - couldn't have asked for a better day! It's been burning hot, and considering I was going to hop into the Tunnel to spend a weekend in Paris I have effectively saved myself £144!

I haven't been terribly productive the last week or so, hit my wall in the art side of things so to speak...nothing I draw is coming out very well, I'm assuming it's due to the want of lounging out in the sun instead. Hopefully things will pick up once I'm over this heatwave!

That said, when I'm sheltering from the sun I've been having loads of fun playing Mario Kart Wii - I know I spoke about it in the last journal but I can't recommend the WiFi multiplayer enough! It's a right laugh bumping people around hahah. The only thing is that in Battle it auto-teams you, so if you have uneven numbers of people in your room it's a little unfair. That's why I want to register some more people who would like to join in!

I'm not really into playing against complete unknowns online, so I usually set up my own room for friends and the like to come play. It's nice to know at least one person you're playing against! I'm trying to gather up as many people who would like to have a game with us, ideally having 12 people would be the best outcome. If you would like to come play, then drop us a comment or a note with your FC - I don't usually have a set day or time to play but I might have a go at setting up a game for Friday. If you're free and would like to come along, then send us your info and I'll try to arrange something. Anyone and everyone is welcome!
